Adapted from a Booker Prize shortlisted novel by J L Carr, this story was also made into a film with Kenneth Brannagh and Colin Firth.
It's themes are timeless and it's core message about the need to live life to the full before it all fades away into memory is one that resonates today in these troubled times.
