To mark the two hundredth anniversary of the birth of George Eliot we welcome Lesley Smith back to Market Bosworth. Audiences who have seen her portrayals of historical celebrities before will know how amazing her characterisation is and how thorough the research. You will really feel that you have spent an evening in the company of George Eliot the woman!
Now is a chance to meet this extraordinary woman through a monologue by Historian Lesley Smith and to discover for yourself how truly remarkable she was. The research for Lesley’s portrayal of the author was supported by the George Eliot Fellowship to mark the bicentenary of her birth.
