At our Big Weekend we were please to host a stand for Bosworth Marina, who provided a raffle prize of a trip on their day boat "Harry & Sally" and the winner was John Ensor. a resident of Market Bosworth. Sail away John! They also had a wonderful live bee display that was very popular with visitors.

Confused? Of coure not, we knew exactly where these were all going...

Our final event of the summer season was Pickwick Papers, by Rain or Shine Theatre Co., on June 27th. What a spendid performance it was, enhanced by a perfect summer's evening (the sort we don't seem to get very often) and a lovely atmosphere on the Parish Field. Picnics were enjoyed by the audience, who behaved impeccably and were hailed as "the best this summer!" Pat yourself on the back if you were there... The poster promised us a coach and horses - well we got something

The Boules match was once more extremely popular & well subscribed. Bosworth's got talent! In spite of our unusual Boulodrome which can only be described as "quirky", teams rose to the challenge and the scores were high. The winners were the two men in the centre of the photo - The 'Boules Brothers' Karl Graves (black tee shirt) and Andy Sweet (hat). The runners up were 'Dixie Early Doors' David Dickinson (extreme left) and Simon Parnell (extreme right) in their special Dixie

A regular and long standing event at our festival is an OPEN ART EXHIBITION. This year it will take place September 26 & 27 at the Dixie Grammar School. Entries are invited now - go to EVENTS>ART EXHIBITION and download your entry form. A great opportunity to exhibit and to buy original artworks!

June 20 & 21 was a great weekend for the festival. 4,500 visitors came to enjoy the fun at Bosworth Country Park - games, music, art & craft, food, community projects - some local police officers were even seen shinning up the climbing wall! The team is pictured here late on Sunday - totally exhausted but happy. Our thanks go to everyone who participated.

Our Art Exhibition at the Dixie Grammar School moved to the Autumn this year and proved really successful. Thank you to all the lovely visitors who came to see the exhibiton over the last weekend in September. 200 artworks were on display and the standard of exhibits was amazingly high. The winner of People's Choice award was Richard Whelan for his painting "Dad's Chair". Richard taught himself oil painting by watching YouTube vieos during Covid lock down, so what a fantastic
