The Big Weekend: SATURDAY

A family festival for all to enjoy! Come along and bring your family and friends for a great day out

This year's Children's Day promises to be packed full of fun.  Its free to come in so why not bring family and friends along to have a great day out.  You can polish up your circus skills with our circus performers Helter Skelter,  or why not put on your dancing shoes and join our dance workshop?

Local company Option One will be holding workshops on how to make your own fantastic Street Art project  (booking required and small fee applies) or why not have a go at your own origami project?

Sit and back and relax whilst AVP theatre take you through a magical world of story telling using their amazing puppet show.  If that's not enough, we have live music all day to enjoy whist you treat yourself to an ice cream!

We are very excited to be offering Street Art Experience workshops by local company Option One Creative. The workshops are 30 minutes long for age 9+ and children get to take home their own piece of art. Max 20 children per sesion. 

Only £7 per child.  Workshops will run at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm

Visitors to Market Bosworth are always surprised by our hidden gem the Parish Field .

The Parish field is a wide open space tucked behind Joey the warhorse on Park Street. If you aren’t a local you have probably driven past it on many occasions and not even realised it’s there!

It’s an enclosed area in the centre of the town but traffic free which is perfect for the relaxed family friendly events we have planned.

During our summer festival the field is the venue for outdoor events including our Big Weekend.

Saturday which is our family friendly day with live music a craft market and loads of games, activities, good food and drink and our relaxed Sunday free concert.
