Pickwick Picnic

Our final event of the summer season was Pickwick Papers, by Rain or Shine Theatre Co., on June 27th. What a spendid performance it was, enhanced by a perfect summer's evening (the sort we don't seem to get very often) and a lovely atmosphere on the Parish Field. Picnics were enjoyed by the audience, who behaved impeccably and were hailed as "the best this summer!" Pat yourself on the back if you were there... The poster promised us a coach and horses - well we got something very similar as you can see. Well done Rain or Shine!
